The global Covid-19 pandemic has significantly affected communities worldwide, including those residing in the United Kingdom. Following the easing of the prolonged national lockdown, the Executive Committee of the Gurkha Nepali Welfare Society UK convened a meeting in full compliance with social-distancing guidelines.

As part of our commitment to the welfare of our members, the committee procured masks and sanitisers using the organisation’s own resources. These essential protective items were then distributed directly to the door to door of our senior citizen members and those suffering from long-term illnesses by members of the Executive Committee.

This initiative reflects our ongoing dedication to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our community during these challenging times.

बिश्वभरि महामारीको रूपमा फैलिरहेको Covid-19 ले बेलायत बासीलाई पनि अछुतो राखेन,जब बेलायतमा लामो समयको लकडाउन पछी हल्का खुल्ला भए पश्यात सामाजिक दुरी कायम राख्दै कार्यसमितिको बैठक बसेर संस्थाका जेष्ठ नागरिक सदस्यहरु, लामो समयसम्म बिमारी भएका सदस्यहरुलाई  Mask र Sanitiser उहहरुको घर-घरमा गरेर कार्य समितिका सदस्यहरुले सहयोग गर्यौ ।
