Financial Support Provided for Flood Victims of the Terai Region
During the months of Shrawan and Bhadra 2074 B.S. (August 2017), continuous monsoon rainfall across various Asian countries caused severe flooding in the Terai region of Nepal, resulting in significant loss of life, property, and livelihoods. Many families were left homeless due to this natural disaster.
In order to provide financial assistance to the flood-affected and homeless families, voluntary donations were collected from the members of this organization. The details of the collected amount are as follows.
While arranging to distribute the collected funds to the flood victims, it was learned that the team of Mr. Rabi Lamichhane, presenter of Sidha Kura Janata Sanga on News24 Nepal, had initiated the construction of residential houses for flood victims in the Mushahar settlement of Tilathi Koiladi, Saptari District.
Therefore, in support of the ongoing housing construction for the flood victims, this organization formally handed over the collected amount of NPR 145,000 (One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Rupees only) to Mr. Rabi Lamichhane. The amount was handed over by the Secretary of the organization, Mr. Ram Kumar Ijam, on 7th November 2017.

Financial Assistance Collected for Fire Victims in Bhojpur District, Nepal.
On Friday, 20th Falgun 2073 B.S. (3 March 2017), at approximately 1:00 PM local time, a sudden and devastating fire broke out in Danda Kharka Newar Village, located in Bhaise Pankha Ward No. 4 (former) and currently Bhojpur Municipality Ward No. 10, Bhojpur District.
The fire completely destroyed five houses belonging to extremely underprivileged families residing in the area, leaving the affected families homeless and in severe distress.
In order to provide financial assistance to the fire-affected families, voluntary monetary contributions were collected from the members of this organization. The list of donors who contributed to this relief fund is provided below.

Educational Support Fund for Earthquake-Orphaned Students
Shree Sansarimai Secondary School, Thulopakhar – 1, Sindhupalchok
In coordination with Gurkha Nepalese Welfare Society, UK
As per the correspondence from the Management Committee of Shree Sansarimai Secondary School, Thulopakhar–1, Sindhupalchok District, dated 23rd Ashad 2072 (July 8, 2015), a special educational support initiative has been established to assist students who suffered a tragic loss during the devastating earthquakes of 12th and 29th Baisakh, 2072 B.S.
An endowment fund titled Shree Sansarimai Secondary School Gorkha Welfare Society UK/Nepal Endowment Fund 2073 has been established under the auspices of Shree Sansarimai Secondary School and the Gurkha Welfare Society UK Endowment Fund 2073. The fund has been created with a monetary contribution of NPR 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Rupees) provided by the Gorkha Nepali Welfare Society UK.
This program is specifically targeted toward extremely poor and diligent students who lost both of their parents in those catastrophic events. Through this fund, students’ examination fees will be fully covered, ensuring that financial hardship does not hinder their pursuit of education.
